About
The Shenandoah Valley Chess Club is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching and promoting the game of chess to all ages and skill levels in the Shenandoah Valley region. Chess programs are partnered with Handley Regional Library System and affiliated with the United States and Virginia Chess Federations. We hold weekly meetings at Handley Library in Winchester and Bowman Library in Stephens City, Virginia. Our regular club meetings are provided free of charge and are supported through fundraisers and community donations.
